  1. MailRoom is a Microsoft Windows companion product to MCI Mail.
  2. With MailRoom, you will enjoy using MCI Mail!  MailRoom makes it
  3. easy to send and receive messages with MCI Mail.  It incorporates
  4. a custom Address Book for storing names and addresses as well as
  5. mailing lists.  All MCI address types (including fax) are
  6. supported.  Messages can be stored in and retrieved from user
  7. defined folders.  Messages can be copied, forwarded and sent with
  8. receipt, document, charge and priority options.  Messages can also
  9. be created with your favorite word processor and imported into
  10. MailRoom for addressing and delivery.

  12. MailRoom supports file transfer of binary files through an easy
  13. point and click selection dialog.  MailRoom lets you schedule
  14. calls to MCI Mail at various times of day.  It also supports 9600
  15. bit per second modems.  MailRoom has features which support laptop
  16. usage and using MCI Mail from both home and office.

  18. To install MailRoom, UNZIP the contents of this ZIP file to a
  19. diskette.  In the Program Manager, run SETUP from this
  20. installation disk, then run MailRoom from the Program Manager
  21. icon.  This will bring you to the Setup Window.  Press the Help
  22. button in Setup if you have any questions.

  24. After you install it , MailRoom will place a notification in your
  25. UNSENT folder to be sent to Sierra Solutions when you first sign
  26. on.  This will happen the first time only.  If you wish, you may
  27. delete the message before it is sent.

  29. MailRoom is designed to provide you an "official" copy of all
  30. your outgoing messages.  To accomplish this, it transfers messages
  31. from your MCI OutBox into your MailRoom SENT folder.  When you
  32. send your first message, you will notice this feature.  If you are
  33. a frequent MCI Mail sender, your OutBox may have many messages to
  34. be downloaded the first time and this may take a while.  We
  35. welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement for this
  36. product.  This can be conveniently done using MailRoom's Gripe! 
  37. facility.

  39. To aid you in getting started, MailRoom has extensive context
  40. sensitive Help facilities.  MailRoom provides all this in an easy
  41. to install Windows package for only $85.  You may use MailRoom
  42. without a license for a 30-day free trial.  At the end of this
  43. period, you will need a license.

  70. days.  If you continue using this software after the 30 day 
  71. evaluation period, you must purchase a regular license from 
  72. Sierra Solutions. Using this software after the evaluation period,
  73. without purchasing the software, is a violation of the terms of 
  74. this limited license.

  77. disassemble, reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program 
  78. except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use 
  79. shall result in automatic termination of this license.

  83. As the copyright holder for MailRoom, Sierra Solutions authorizes 
  84. distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.

  86. You may copy the ZIP file or MailRoom diskette for your own use 
  87. (for evaluation purposes) or for other individuals to evaluate, 
  88. ONLY when the following conditions are met.

  90.  -  The complete MailRoom package - including all related program 
  91.     files and documentation files - may not be modified in any
  92.     way and must be distributed as a complete package. Copy your 
  93.     diskette rather than copying the files off of your hard 
  94.     disk.  The Setup program will be included as well as other files 
  95.     not copied to your hard disk.  Alternatively, a copy of the 
  96.     original ZIP file may also be distributed.

  98.  -  No price or other compensation may be charged for the 
  99.     MailRoom package.  A distribution cost may be charged 
  100.     for the cost of the diskettes, shipping and handling, as
  101.     long as the total (per disk) does not exceed US$10.00.
